In Sumer 1996 Blake received his first midi keyboard, the Alesis Quadrasyth. After a couple years of making many different songs with the limited amount of only 16 tracks of midi on one single keyboard, he came upon an offer from Shibui Productions in Los Angeles to do the soundtrack to a TV series called "High Speed Chase Pursuits".

After creating many new songs and re-building old ones for the job, he then recorded them on to DAT (Digital Audio Tape) and ADAT (Alesis Digital Audio Tape) and never used them again.

10 years later a friend of Blake's contacted him about a chat room where people were looking to find the old electronic music he not only did for the TV series, but also other old tracks from the same genre.

Blake was working on another project and had long forgotten the old sounds from his early years.
He never looked back, but the idea to release an album of old Blake, intrigued him.

After searching through old cassette tapes, digitizing, de-noising and re-mastering, he was able to create the album he never thought would ever be released.

Although the "Station B3" album does not contain much of what was made for the TV series "High Speed Chase Pursuits", it does capture the essence of the early Blake era and the space he was in creatively at the time.

The cover was realized from a dream he had one evening in late 1998, that still he associates with the his music at that time.
The original cover has been renewed, in consideration for the sound selection and newly mastered sound.
